Usui Reiki Level One

This course is for people who would like to learn the foundation and basic knowledge of the Japanese form of stress reduction ‘Reiki’. In the East it is said that our bodies are not just made up of muscles, bones and organs; it also has an energy system. This is where Life force energy flows, if this energy becomes blocked and low through stress and general lack of well being we are likely to become ill but if the energy flow is high and balanced it is easier for us to maintain optimum health and general peace of mind. The aim of Reiki is learn how to balance mind, body, spirit.
Anybody can learn Reiki weather you want to do this purely to help yourself or to add it to other therapies that you do, it works and integrates perfectly with massage.

Course content

*The history of Reiki how the human energy field works inc knowledge of chakras, aura and meridians.
*The hand positions to heal yourself and others.
*Level one attunement.
*Meditation and hands on practical work.
*Buddhism

Entry Requirement –
To be educated to GSCE Level

Course duration – 
1 Day.

Examination System –
Continual assessments takes place during the day. On completion of the course a final practical and written test is completed to assess knowledge gained during the course.
